ABOUT HOE
Haven on Earth Garden Designs (HOE) is a woman-owned landscape design company which was founded in 2005. As a boutique design company HOE works closely with clients to express their ideas and needs to develop a unique landscape design, one which is perfectly suited to the household and to the site.
Our name, Haven on Earth Garden Designs, reflects our belief that Nature is an essential part of life. We work closely with you to discover, define and create your unique “haven on earth.”
We manage our gardens organically, and we advocate using native plants because they provide food and shelter for the beneficial insects, pollinators, butterflies, birds and other wild life which inhabit and share our gardens.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER/DESIGNER, Beth Feldman, CNLP
Beth lived and worked as an educator in Belgium for more than twenty years before she fell in love with gardening,
discovered her passion for plants, and decided to go back to school. She earned a diploma in Garden Design from the English Gardening School in London, UK. www.englishgardeningschool.co.uk in 1998.
Her travels shaped her appreciation of architecture and garden styles, and helped her to develop a wide-ranging plant palette. Beth uses her knowledge of plants and her design experience to create sustainable landscapes that are are interesting and visually pleasing in all four seasons.
Beth earned the credential CNLP (Certified Nursery and Landscape Professional) from the New York State Nursery and Landscape Association in 2003.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Beth has been involved with the Grow to Give Garden at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of
Huntington where volunteers grow organic vegetables to donate to local food pantries.
Haven on Earth Garden Designs, Ltd. is part of the Gardener’s Showcase at the Vanderbilt Museum. HOE designed and maintains an area near the Planetarium building.
